Key responsibilities:

The Creative Video Director will lead the vision, production, and execution of video content across Boxout.fm’s platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing compelling visual narratives, managing end-to-end video production, and ensuring alignment with the brand’s creative direction. This role will be central to capturing the spirit of alternative music and culture through high-quality visual storytelling.

Creative Direction & Strategy:

Develop and maintain a cohesive video content strategy that supports brand identity and community engagement.
Collaborate with leadership to translate organizational goals into visual campaigns and storytelling.

Content Production:

Oversee the production of video projects from concept through delivery, including event coverage, artist features, campaigns, and branded content.
Direct shoots, guide cinematographers, editors, and crew, and ensure creative excellence across all outputs.
Manage post-production processes, including editing, color grading, sound design, and final delivery.Ensure all video outputs are aligned with sponsor and partner deliverables, integrating brand requirements, seamlessly into the creative vision.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Lead internal and freelance video teams, providing guidance, feedback, and creative direction.
Work closely with the social media, YouTube, events, and partnerships teams to align video content with wider campaigns.

Innovation & Quality Control:

Stay updated with trends in music, visual culture, and digital media to push creative boundaries.
Ensure all video content meets technical standards and maintains consistency with Boxout.fm’s brand.

Project & Resource Management:

Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for video projects.
Coordinate logistics for shoots, including equipment, locations, and crew.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field [ Preferred but not required]
5–7 years of experience for a senior-level position
Proven track record of directing and producing video content (portfolio required).
Strong storytelling ability with a keen visual sense.
Expertise in video production tools and software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
Experience leading creative teams and managing video projects end-to-end.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Music or culture background is mandatory, along with a passion for alternative music, creative culture, and community-driven projects
