Project Description
I have made a prototype of an autonomous electro acoustic generative musical instrument. I wish to explore a bigger better piece in a public space.
Expected Impact
At the core of my project is a generative algorithm that reimagines live exploration of Indian classical ragas infinitely. I feel that's quite powerful and much needed in a world where serious art forms are giving away to shallow pop culture memes.
Applicant Background
I hold two degrees in computer science and have released seven electronics music albums so far. I have also exhibited solo and group both, more than once at premier art galleries and festivals.
