Mumbai
a six chapter styling archive of mumbai told through clothes xerox textures city noise and a final immersive showing where the chaos of mumbai is edited styled printed and seen without apology
mumbai has always been styled just never archived right this project gives the city her own editorial no pity no polish just fashion from what already exists it shifts the cultural lens from chasing global trends to styling local chaos with intention no more waiting to be discovered by the west we publish ourselves now this is for every creator who thought they needed a perfect backdrop or a bigger name i want people to look around and realise the city is already dressed you just have to shoot it style is not luxury style is everyday and india has never run out of looks only editors
i’ve styled editorials shoots and campaigns where chaos is the default not the obstacle i’ve worked with real bodies real cities and real-time problem solving i know how to make fashion happen without needing fashion week i’ve built visuals from scratch sourced from street corners collaborated with photographers and directed styling that tells a story even without words this project is not a stretch it’s a continuation "bambai acid archive" comes from lived experience from styling in noise from watching a city dress herself every day and knowing exactly how to frame it
