Project Description
An interactive audio visual experience, that has never been seen before in India. I want to tell a story that is specifically made for the next generation. A benchmark for how performances could be.
Expected Impact
we can do so much better in terms of performance arts. Mainstream artists in India are not exploring performance arts whereas smaller artists do not have the funding and resources to pursue something new. I have attended over 100 concerts in the past 2-3 years yet the visuals have always seemed to be missing a lot. I want to change that, I want the performances to feel like cinema. This inspiration comes from other non mainstream international artists. I want other artists in India to be empowered to create an experience for their fans that they will remember for their lifetime.
Applicant Background
I have been making music for 10 years and started releasing music a year ago. Hindi music has been overshadowed by flex rapping, bollywood remakes and unoriginality. I have already 8000 monthly listeners on spotify and i still have 7-8 more songs to release. Moreover, I have been working professionally as a motion designer and art director for 5 years now. I am currently working at cars24, gurgaon.
